How do I install my camcorder?
I have the usb cable for my camcorder but windows cannot find it to download. It didn’t come with a disk, is there a way to download it?
What type is your camcorder?
Its difficult to help without knowing the type of your camcorder.
Whatever, set your cam to “PLAY/EDIT” or “VCR/VTR”
Now connect the usb cable to the PC and see if it works.
If your cam is a Mini DV, usb cable will not work. You’ll need firewire cable.
Or if it is a Hi 8 cam, transfer is possible only by using capture card.
Most camcorder can do well even without the disc. But if disc is really needed, it can be downloaded from websites like that of Sony, Canon, Samsung, Panasonic, JVC, etc which ever is relevant to your camcorder.
